Important

When ordering replacements - 
Always select the same colour centre boss as on the originals.

Beware of inferior 3D printed imitations made from PLA!

PLA (or Polylactic Acid) is a biodegradable polymer used by hobbyists - but it is not best suited to outdoor applications. 

What can happen?

  • PLA can start to colour fade quite quickly with sunlight.
  • PLA soon becomes brittle when exposed to UV or cold.
  • PLA will become soft & distorted in hot conditions.
  • PLA is easy to 3D print but not hard wearing.
  • PLA is designed to degrade in environmental conditions.
